Comments1WOW, THIS POEM REALLY STRUCK A CHORD WITH ME. THE IMAGES OF A BEGGAR AT A WEDDING, DESPERATELY WATCHING HIS LOVE MARRY ANOTHER - IT'S HEARTBREAKING. "YOU THE BRIDE AND I A BEGGAR" - I FELT THAT! BUT I'M CURIOUS, WHY DOES THE BEGGAR REFUSE ALMS? ANY THOUGHTS?
