Comments4I loved reading this poem! It really resonated with me and reminded me of the importance of personal freedom. The concept of no one being a prisoner when liberty is present is a beautiful thought. It's great to appreciate and reflect upon poems like this one. It made my day!
WOW, THIS EMILY DICKINSON POEM REALLY HIT ME! LOVED THE WHOLE PASSAGE "NO PRISONER BE," IT MADE ME THINK ABOUT HOW INPORTANT FREEDOM IS FOR EVERYONE. EMILY SURE HAD A WAY WIITH WORDS! TRULY AMAZING HOW SHE UNRDERSTANDS LIBERTY IN THIS SHORT PIECE.
I GUESS "NO PRISONER BE" IS AN OKAY POEM, BUT HONESTLY I DIDNT REALLY FEEL MUCH AFTER READING IT. JUST TALKS ABOUT LIBERTY AND FREEDOM AND STUFF, NOT THAT MIND BLOWING. I MEAN, "HIMSELF—ABIDE WITH THEE" IS KINDA COOL, BUT THATS IT. 🤷 MAYBE POETRY ISNT MY THING, LOL!
Just enjoyed "No Prisoner be". A sincere and deep poem, focusing on freedom, which I totally like. Freedom deserves to be celebrated, and poetry is a neat way to do it. Felt good reading this.
