Did the Harebell loose her girdle
To the lover Bee
Would the Bee the Harebell hallow
Much as formerly?

Did the "Paradise"—persuaded—
Yield her moat of pearl—
Would the Eden be an Eden,
Or the Earl—an Earl?

I just came acros this poem by Emily Dickinson and I gotta say, her use of imagery is quite impressive. I mean, comparing the bee and the harebell tom a kind of love relationhip?? It's really an interesting thoughht! And the whole connection with Eden and pearls, so deep. I'm glad I stumbbled upon this while doing my homework, Emily Dickinson's poetry never fails to amaze me!
