I was around when they were worn,
Back in the seventies was the time,
Ladies fashion demanded cropped tops.
I remember the day well,
A young lady was running passed me,
Her cropped top she wore,
But there was nothing on beneath it.
So as she run towards me
Her naked boobs
Swayed from side to side.
What a wonderful sight
A twoderful sight to behold.

Just to say that the Moody Blues are one of my two favourite groups from back in the seventies, the other being Pink Floyd.
I recall it all so well - does it still happen - I live a sheltered life these days
So do I the only 'bobbling' I see nowadays is the bubbles in the dishwater!

I should get out more. But in some (old) quiz shows, they run down the steps, and some bobble. Bruce Forsyth always noticed it, to the point of being a bit pervy and embarrassing some women! They should reply: 'What's that dead hedgehog on your head?' (his wig).

Loved the POEM too ! having been born in 1983 ~ I missed the introduction of so so many titillating (an apt word) ~ Mini-skirts ~ Hot-pants ~ Topless Beaches and Bars ~ Cropped-tops ~ Flower-power ~ Free-love etc etc. However in the 21st Century all these things still exist and resurrect in one guise or another every Spring & Summer ! The only advantage I have is that I may live to see Man walk on Mars and even the outcome of BREXIT. Yours BRIAN
