How can that happen?
Why should it do that?
In all my many years
That has never happened,
Never happened before.
Looking back through history
It has never been recorded.
Has the apocalypse started
And no one has told me!
Is the end of the world coming?
Is this the end?
Now that the toast I knocked,
Knocked onto the floor,
Landed BUTTER SIDE UP!

Oh lol, good write Gold. Mine landed butter side up too, then the cat came along and licked off all the butter!
I always thought the cat had the cream!
Before the application of marmalade? You lucky old bean - thanks for the smile.
Marmalade is a no, no in our house, I would never see it as Joyce would have eaten it before I had a chance to spread it on my toast.
Andy,
I’m with Joyce...
Give me the marmalade...
forget the butter!
Orange marmalade is my preference!
Beethoven...
an added delight!
That was a great clip!
Enjoyed it very much!
Love to Joyce and you!
~Laura~
Thank you for your very kind comments Laura, they are much appreciated.
Andy
I’m getting the marmalade ready!😉
Now THERE'S an inspiration for a poet.... a successful toasting accident. You're amazing.
Thank you da, it is just the way life works sometimes and my strange views on it.
THANKS ANDY ~ loved the VIDEO ! I am a paid up Member of the MISTER BEAN SOCIETY and in my eyes ROWAN can do no wrong ~ Toujours Le Genie ! Beethoven (who had no sense of humour) would have loved it !
Love the poem and there are many many signs of the END TIMES recorded in the Gospels ~ Daniel ~ Book of Revelations and elsewhere. While the orientation of tumbling toast is not mentioned specifically ~ there is mention of SIGNS & WONDERS and that could indeed be one of them ! I do hope the END does not come before the Middle of September ~ By which time My Two Weeks in NZ with ANGELA will be complete ~ AMEN ~ Yours Packed & Ready (for NZ !) BRIAN ~ Love to JOYCE
