WE ARE SAILING ............ ! ANGELA & BRIAN

BRIAN & ANGELA

SAILING IN AUCKLAND HARBOUR ~ PARADISE ON EARTH!

BRIAN & I both love to sail

Especially in the Summer

But in the Winter, when its cold

It really is a BUMMER!

But in the North Island

It never ever freezes

Sixty degrees to hot to freeze

We're sailin' how it pleases!

We sailed away in AUCKLAND BAY

Brian, David, Ruth & I

Sailin' in Cousin Lauries Boat

Passin' other Sailors by !

Brian & David cant believe

It is the Winter Season

No snow no ice Sun in the Sky

It really defies Reason!

NEW ZEALAND : Land of Happiness

Sailing, Singing, Dancin'

We've left behind the BREXIT Stress

Now its time for ROMANCIN'

A Lovely Day : Please comment : Love ANGELA XXXX

Good Morning Uncle STEVE: We just sailed around the Bay, warm and a good breeze. For us sailing is FREEDOM : no one way streets or traffic lights etc. One just has to avoid other craft, especially ones bigger than you. Ruth & I are more experienced Sailors than B & D so we let them make the coffee & the sanis! On the 1st of September we might sail all the way home to the UK! Thanks for your comment, Love ANGELA XXXX

Sounds wonderful. I have writtena poem about sailing a few years ago,

      Dancing on the Water
      July 2013 – Andy Brister

They glide along with effortless ease,
Sliding past each other, in this strange dance.
Bulging bellies full of the breath
That comes from the blowing wind.
      Turning together, as though linked,
      The water sliding beneath them,
      With a sound of sibilance
Only heard by those close by.
They dance with each other on the waves,
      This dance that seems to have no meaning;
The only music, the sounds of nature,
Spilling from the water and the wind.

Until at the last the horn booms out
Signalling that a yacht has won this race.

Good Morning Uncle Andy, thanks for your comment and beautiful Poem. I love 'free verse' poetry that flows, RHYME can sometimes be very restrictive. I love Yacht Races always very competitive and exhilarating. We are enjoying being together (we are the very best of Friends) for the first few days, then Brian & I will go North and Ruth & David, SOUTH. Thanks for your support & prayers its now 11pm (NZ Time) so almost time for BED! Love to JOYCE & Yourself : ANGELA XXXX

We are the 'Best of Friends' and it is awesome to be able to enjoy these first few days together in Beautiful Auckland. Its 11 pm (Tuesday) so almost time for SLEEP : Love ANGELA XXXX

THANKS FRIEND: Pleased you enjoyed it. I love having BRIAN here with me in NZ after three months separation. We are enjoying every minute and going Sailing again on Thursday! Every Blessing : Love BRIAN & ANGELA XXXX It is the middle of Winter in NZ but the midday temperature always reaches 15C (60F) in Auckland because the climate is semi-tropical!
