Once more I was on my knees,
Crawling towards my loved one,
Begging for her forgiveness
For the wrong I had done.
The first time it happened
She forgave me,
Her generosity was boundless.
But I had done it again,
The second time in thirty-seven years,
Thirty-seven years of married bliss.
Would she find it in her heart
To forgive me one more time,
For bringing her tea up to her,
Bringing it to her twenty minutes late.

- Comment from author about the poem: She forgave me. The Mozart is important in our lives as my wife used to play the clarinet but can no longer play it due to her health problems.

I thought you was only about 3 minutes late?! You got that pot of tea now? A fine write Gold.
No, it was twenty minutes this time. I was on time today though.
Disgraceful! Utterly shameful behaviour! I trust you were suitably chastised and made to stand in the corner.
I am sooo soorry.
Was it still s'tea'ming or had it gone cold? A real 'tea'rjerker of a tale.
Andy,
Of course she forgave you. It was Mozart who influenced her to do so!
Loved the piece along with Mozart.
Love to Joyce and you!
~Laura~
personally, I prefer caffeine tablets.
been taking them for 45 years.
they are not for everyone.
1 or 2 a day if I feel groggy.
and don't want to sleep.
lots of times I don't take any. your wife already forgave you. so carry on. Mozart is music with class.
