ME, A SNOB?
You called me a snob.
What impudence!
That cannot be!
I ate in McDonalds once.

I too ate in Macdonalds ONCE, that was back in the 1980s, I swore I would never go in one again, and so far so good.
Great words Michael and I do like the sculpture.
Thanks Andy - kindred spirits eh what?
So did I once, I think - or maybe more times. But I have to eat plain foods, and be fussy! A fine write and pic M.
I eat real food - my wonderful wife cooks a whole variety of fare (probably part of her ethnic background) so we eat fresh food every day - no fast food for us - by the way I do all the prep and help as a commis chef so it is a joint effort.
Is it the Co-op food stores for you? Or M&S food department (snobby)?! I always go to 99p store. I find the Pound Shop too expensive. Gosh, everything is ÂŁ1 there ya know!
We use Aldi -- being in MH it's okay (car park full of 4by4's) - went into Aldi in a different area and it was like a third world country - me a snob?
Went into B&M yesterday but the paper bag on my head was so uncomfortable.
DEAR UNCLE MIKE
How very nice
Please don't tell BRIAN
I ate a BIG MAC

Michael,
You...a snob?!
I think not!
Your great sculpture reminds me of the little Italian countryside church/school that I went to when I was a child. Love it. Many fond memories.

I wouldn't use McD because their fast food has no appeal
I am a stickler for observing table manners (in myself) .
I am very fussy about the way I dress
I speak RP and avoid like the plague incorrect use of the language
I wouldn't be seen in a tee shirt bearing any form of picture or logo
I only use use reputable hair stylists
Okay so I'm a bit prissy and a stickler for standards but it it doesn't bother me one jot if others follow different codes - it's their choice.
You’re correct...
“To each his own”
I totally agree with you about table manners and the correct use of language! I’m a bit more “relaxed” with the dress code!
You wont find me inMcDonalds when there's a perfectly good meal to be had in the bins round the back where one's fellow diners are such good company.
Ah bin cuisine - now there's a poem there somewhere - thanks Dusk.
How's the evening going? Miss Berles keeps asking me to enquire.
Not bad - been out at a Nat Trust property today - Enjoya Berles.
I ate at Mickie Dee's twice so my street cred is that much better. I also ate at Denny's once so I really know all about slumming.
Now I've got to look up Micky Dees and Dennys - we don't have them in the UK.
We do have a lot of greasy cafes though.
Cheers fb
mickie dees is an abbreviation for mcdonalds that we use stateside.
