Based on poem 'On the Wings of Eagles by w c.
Tune: All for Jesus
('Holy Spirit, come confirm us')
**********
On a stairway there in the sky
Puffy clouds float closely by
And I do see angels too there
Escorting souls up the stairs
St Peter awaits by the gate
Immanuel also waits
To see us when our day has come
E'er we with [Him] our loving one
On eagle's wings we will sure fly
Fore'er with a rainbow high
Thankful now that the rain has gone
And for light that shines upon [us]
And when we think the sun will set
There'll be light that never quits
And in the light there will then be
Our dear friends and families
And so there on the mountain peak
We will live lives blissfully
Having from Christ all that we need
Satisfied eternally

Well, they do sing it, after messing about for 20 seconds at the start!
Kudos to you both.
Thanks M.
THANKS UNCLE STEVE : Loved the MEDIEVAL CHOIR and the Message in the Poem! Just what I needed to lift my SPIRITS today after BRIAN Flying Away ! Love to You and your loved Ones : ANGELA ๐งก
Thanks A.
A beautiful share ๐๐๐ป
Thanks misskay.
Good write Orchi, come let us fly with the eagles.
One of the basses got a note write in the third bar of the second stanza.
Thanks Gold. They seemed to be messing about before they started. Why not record things from when all is ready, not when faffing about?!
Thanks, Orchidee. I love our hymn-poem! Thanks for your help.
Thanks w c.
Orchi - Is it cold on the mountain peak? I don't like being cold.........
Yes lol. but I got my long johns on! Erm in UK they are long underpants - pants meaning underwear, not UK trousers. Oops I got trousers on as well of course. lol
I know the ones you mean........ they wore them back in 1066
Ahh yes - ooh, I forgot, I've not changed them since then. Any more details on this will be 'too much info'! lol.
