NEW ZEALAND : SHEEP RULE OK : ANGELA

BRIAN & ANGELA

FOUR MIXED BREED NEW ZEALAND SHEEP : BEAUTIFUL

ENJOY THE LAMB RECIPE WITH MAORI CHEF ~ PETER GORDON

NO SIRLOIN STEAK : NO PORKY CHOPS

NO CHICKEN FLAVOURED LOLLIPOPS

The farmers in Pyjamas all say NO  NO  NO !

NO Venison  NO Turkey breast

The placards all say  LAMB IS BEST !

When youre in New Zealand : You should Know Know Know

Theres an awful lot Sheep Farms wherever you may GO !

New Zealand Lamb is always great

Taste & Texture : I cant overstate

NO Corned Beef or tins of Ham : JUST LAMB !

NO Vegetarians or Quorn

All KIWIS are "Lamb eaters born"

All other MEAT receives a BAN  BAN  BAN

Theres  an awful lot Sheep Farms in the Land !

BAA LAMBS are cute : and SHEEP are nice

And they are not just tasty Meat to eat

Their coats are curly  thick and full

The WORLDS best cloth NEW ZEALAND WOOL !

N Z  raise their SHEEP with great respect

Kill them humanly : then digest.

We'd LOSE if SHEEP WARS had begun

Cause were outnumbered TEN to ONE !

BUY N Z LAMB OK : comments please : ANGELA   ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡

Hope you like this poem : it is an attempt at HUMOUR.

Apologies to Veggies & Veagans and BAA LAMB Lovers !

I have always love LAMBS & LAMB : BRIAN thinks WELSH

is best !  New Zealand Lamb & Lambs Wool are so very

important to their economy. I have visited N Z Sheep Farms

and every new born Lamb has a NAME and is given lots of

TLC.  Wool is just a DONATION but of course Lamb Chops

are a SACRIFICE !  This POEM is a surprise for BRIAN cause

I usually let him tweek my Poems so any mistakes are all

mine. Please comment thanks ANGELA : AUCKLAND N Z 🧡🧡🧡🧡

HI ANDY : I HAVE POSTED A REPLY : PLEASE CHECK : YOURS ANGELA 🧡

    • BRIAN & ANGELA

WOW Thanks UNCLE ANDY : relieved you enjoy ROAST LAMB : expensive but worth every PENNY. Some people refuse it (because of Baa Lambs) same with VENISON because of BAMBI and also
BUNNY RABBITS ! I am Spanish and we revere our BULLS but we also KILL THEM (Matadors) and of course EAT THEM : Esta La Vida ! Pleased you enjoyed it : Blessings & Love to JOYCE 🧡 : ANGELA : Please revisit for Lamb Recipe, Thanks.

GOOD EVENING SWEETHEART ~ Still Morning here and I'm just off to WORK. Loved your "untweaked" poem it made me Smile. Because my DAD is Welsh I have to support Welsh Lamb ~ but i will concede N Z Lamb is very special as well. Love the RECIPE and have written it out for MUM to try on Sunday looks delicious. The HANGIS (with Lamb) we had in Rotorua were awesome ~ Maoris are good cooks. It was your turn to post a Poem and you did warn me on SKYPE earlier this Morning to expect a New Poem. Your Poetry is always ORIGINAL in Style & Subject ! That's a compliment ! Miss you lots ~ ALL MY LOVE BRIAN (All alone in my Room ~ So full of loneliness !) 🧡O🧡O🧡

      • BRIAN & ANGELA

Oooo SWEETHEART : Thanks for your "compliment". being much younger than you (broma !) I tend to tolerate Modern Poetry more than you do and I always accept your FATHERLY advice if my ode is too odd! I love all SHEEP (especially lambs) and I just wanted to honour them in a Poem! We are busy at the Hospital : Kiwis love Extreme Sports so Physios are always in demand! Talk in the Morning : All my love ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Your verse on New Zealand Lamb serves us with plenty to think on Angela and raises a smile too in its use of parody - - thanks too for the recipe so well presented by a Maori Chef - the dish looks delicious - lamb being one of my fav. tastes. I shall be trying that soon. xxx hugs from Fay

HI FAY : Have posted a reply, please read : Love ANGELA 🧡

        • BRIAN & ANGELA

Thanks FAY : Pleased you enjoyed it and the recipe. I have eaten something similar and it was delicious. Minted LAMB has a unique taste! I have always written Doggerel but BRIAN is teaching me about Classic Poetic Form! I am enjoying every day in NZ and NZ sheep have a GOOD life. It would be better if we called the meat MUTTON because it does not sound so cute & cuddly. For the same reason some People wont eat VENISON (Bambi) or RABBIT (Bugs Bunny). Thanks for your comment : Love & Hugs ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡

I thought it was funny. The last two lines were hilarious. It was also informative to me. I did not know that there was so much sheep farms. They also make pretty good leather. I wondered what makes lambskin leather so great. My dad has a nice New Zealand Lambskin leather blazer.
          Persistence is key

How appropriate - just about to go a local abbatoir where there is a butchers shop attached to stock up on --- wait for it ---- lamb (British of course). Great write A - don't worry about Brian - I bet he'll be chuffed with it.

        • orchidee

A fine write A. Isn't a sheep called a lamb, until it's one year old, then it's called a, erm, sheep?!
