THE VIEWS OF NOBLER MEN
No foot across the threshold
no hand upon the door
in dark forsaken precincts
on neutral ground they sit.
At one by bond of intercourse
avoiding tools of sophistry
with little capital of gain
they damn the views of nobler men.

"When i worra lad there wont none o this inta web stuff tha knows".
"Aye lad, i can remember when that My Poetic Side site was just fields".
"So worra ya gonna do when they do this Brexit thing?"
"I'm sticking to Weetabix no matter wot they does".
Strewff mate - ain't yer never tried two poached woodens, some black pudden and mug of builders rosey.
Nobility does not always bring wisdom,
The wise are ignored
By the ignorant in power.
Spot on Andy - do they never listen?
A fine write and pic Michael. You a nobler man?
I've got lots of nobbles - does that count?
You know Nobby Berles - Cilla's brother, or one of her brothers? She may have more.
I know of Bob Berles - he hangs around somewhere.
It does something very odd if you search for 'Cilla Berles' on Google, etc.
Some very dubious sites - she gets very prickly if you ask her about them , bit like her brother , Bram Berles.
These Berles are spreading - like the plague?!
I'm missing something ...... is this English/UK politics? Oh and I'm loving your little house sculptures - they are 3 dimensional no?
Could be political but not intended to be be deeply philosophical. . Simply think of a group of old codgers criticising the more informed.
Yes 3 dimensional - they are sculptures made from found wood.
Ah thanks! A bit like our "deplorables" only less dangerous!
VERY TRUE UNCLE MIKE ~ SOPHISTRY ~ The use of clever false arguments ~ especially eith the intention to deceive ! Better now known in the USA as TRUMPETRY and in the UK as BORISTRY ! It was ever thus and alas will ever be ! Yours as ever BRIAN 😎
That made me smile - thanks Brian
This make sense when we look at it from the perspective of bringing people together to accomplish something together, but like yo just have put out they damn the views of nobler men.
It was always thus - thanks rr
