THANKS MIKE ~ Ten minutes in a Sandwich Lunch to catch up on MPS. As a REMAINER (so is ANGELA) I disagree with your PROGNOSIS ! The poll in fact was HALF IN (48%) and HALF OUT (52%) therefore the Chequers Plan should satisfy everyone (if they are rational !). My ideal outcome would be 1. No hard border with The Republic of Ireland 2. Retain the EU as a Free Trade Area 3. Restricted immigration from the EU to the UK. We would set our own quotas. I voted for the pre-referendum status quo but I would be satisfied with my three points ~ OK Yours BRIAN
I can fully understand your logic but was conducted on a first past the post which is how parliament and our democracy works - mind you if we get your three points I would be a happy bunny. The Irish question is difficult but it seems as if we have forgotten Gibralter in all this.

I reckon if we had the choice again we would vote to remain, which we should have done in the first place. The world needs to come together as one and the united Europe was a start.
Thanks I & Angela (with her Spanish connections) are both EUROPHILES and voted to REMAIN ! Many who voted to LEAVE (BREXIT) were misled by UKIP & Farage & Boris False News. Davis expected 60:40 to remain and so did I. Like YOU Angela & I understood the covert implications of BREXIT and in the end it could be the BREXIT aftermath that tips our future to NEW ZEALAND ~ a big price for the Country to pay (JOKE ?). As I said in my answer to MIKE ~ I support THERESA (as our LEADER !) that the CHEQUERS ~ HALF IN : HALF OUT ~ as the most logical & rational solution.
