Centrality.

Goldfinch60

The saucer had a centre,

The centre was surrounded by circles,

Each circle was a circumference of the saucer.

She put the cup onto the saucer,

It went on a circle of the saucer,

But did not go into the centre,

The centre of the circle.

Oops! Some patterns on china make us feel psychedelic or something. We're in a whirl. The pattern is like something from Dr Who.
How's the 1066 preps? One of my brothers and his g/f are actually going there. They 'humoured me' when I told them they can't get into the reunion unless they were there in person in 1066. They said 'Doh!'

I might go there in person or I might go in a car - did they have cars in 1066 - I can't remember. Must be getting old.

      • Goldfinch60

Sorry, no cars, not even your Austin 7.

Great bit of fun Andy - we've all been there and done it.

        • Goldfinch60

Thank you Michael, yes we have.

I'm far too young for all this psychedelic stuff... I get dizzy standing up too quickly these days... or is that too old... Help
          Sounds fun though G.

Thank you for your comment Andrew, it was funny.

Things could get messy if you serve up spaghetti hoops!

            • Goldfinch60

Been there, done that, theycan be very messy.

              • dusk arising

Somehow i can't imagine you buying cans of tomato hoops. So, having a mind capable of mental gymnastics i began to wonder how you would hoop lengths of pasta - other than craftily creating a hybrid spaghetti tree bearing 'hoop fruit'. So what's the secret, how do you hoop? Carefully tied knots post cooking? Edible glue solution? What's your secret?

Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ Angela here its 10:30 am Tuesday here already : time Flies in Auckland. I deal with a lot of folk with disabilities in my job as a Physio and for their Partners & Carers a SENSE of HUMOUR is a great asset. I often have a laugh with my Patients and they like that. My shift today is 1-8 pm! I have been known to miss the SAUCER all together (double vision} I placed the FULL CUP on the SAUCER that wasn't there! Fortunately it fell on a plastic kitchen floor not a carpet. Love the SONG about WHEELS within WHEELS haven't heard it for ages. Please check our POEM about : A FAMILY OF OUR OWN : And please add a Poem to our FUSION ~ What is a Family ? Thanks ANGELA : Love to YOURSELF & JOYCE 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Thank you Angela. Yes humour is so important, with Joyce we can laugh with and at each other with wonderful results.
That song, circles of your mind is one of my favourites especially in its original version with Noel Harrison singing it.
                  Blessings to you both
                  Andy
