It always amuses BRIAN & I when we visit the USA

that people in our age group (30 ~ 40) are hooked

on SUPPLEMENTS  (Minerals & Vitamins) ! Brian & I

take nothing and just rely on EXERCISE and a Healthy

diet : I have to be a good role model for my Clients !

Brian & I have both studied Food Science and we make 

sure we get our FIVE a DAY. See the chart posted and

this Poem. Fruit & Veg are relatively cheap in the UK 

and New Zealand. In NZ restaurants they serve three

or more veg with a dinner !  KIWI Fruit are especially

good for you. BRIAN will post a Poem on MINERALS

use of SUPPLEMENTS is a Pharmaceutical Con ~ unless

proscribed by a Doctor to remedy a deficiency ?

    A fine informative write B&A. Aww, I must cut down from my 700 units of sherry per week then!
    And why don't I practice what I preach? I'm always adding water to other's whisky, gin, etc, but never to my own! lol.


      Thanks UNCLE STEVE : Pleased you enjoyed it : Vitamins and a balanced diet is important. Brian & I have never smoked and we only drink a glass of WINE at the Weekend ! The basis of my POEM (and BRIANS tomorrow) is to point out that a Balanced Diet (including five a day) provides vitamins & minerals above the recommended daily intake. In developed Countries like the UK, USA, New Zealand etc supplements are unecessary. Vegans are a special case and may need supplements as advised by a DOCTOR. Cut down on the SHERRY and WHISKY dilute 50:50 with ice ! Love in the LORD ~ ANGELA🧡🧡

        Yes I eat all of them. I am one of those people who have yet to find something that I do not like to eat. So I eat everything, but everything in moderation.

          Thanks UNCLE ANDY ~ I like OMNIVORES especially when Im hosting a Dinner Party. I do invite Veggies & Vegans and sit them together and Guests can choose which veggies etc to choose and some are TT ! BRIAN and I are OMNIVORES : If we are in Europe we eat : Italian, Spanish, French and Greek etc : OK In the UK a Balanced Diet is always accessible and cheaper than an Unbalanced One (think about it !).
          I apologise for my comments about WHISKEY ! I have visited Distilleries in Scotland (With my Dad who is a Vintner) and I know (from experience) that what goes in the Bottle is PERFECT (especially Single Malts !) and should be sipped NEAT ~ OK.             Brian and Angela,

            Great advice for keeping your immune system in check, especially by adhering to a balanced diet, consisting of the vitamins you listed, as well as plenty of sunshine and exercise.

            Natural spices (turmeric, cayenne pepper) and foods like garlic and vinegar (with mother's liquor) are also preventatives for sickness and disease.

            Health and the human body is amazing. Thanks for posting. 🙂

              Thanks TAMARA for a very interesting reply. Because BRIAN & I have both studied Food Science we understand the value of HEALTHY EATING and exercise, sunshine, plenty of water (minimum 8 pints of water / water based drinks per day) and of course SPICES : We should all eat at least two \"curies\" per week. MINERALS are important as well and BRIAN will write about those tomorrow. I studied Human Biology (and BRIAN teaches it) the HUMAN BODY is amazing and Healthy Living maintains it in EQUALIBRIUM (Homeostasis) and you live longer and with an improved quality of LIFE ~ AMEN ! What we are is GOD's GIFT to us : What we make of our lives is our GIFT back to GOD and out PARENTS. Every Blessing ~ ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
