SAILING & BAILING & WAILING ! ANGELA & BRIAN

BRIAN & ANGELA

SOMETIMES YOU END UP IN THE WATER & NOT ON IT !

ASSORTED YACHTS sailed out from The Bay

The Weather Forecast : FINE !

But as we ventured out to Sea

The SKY was in decline !

Dark clouds appeared in the bright blue SKY

And then there was a GALE

Which rocked our Craft and some capsized

The wind wrecking  our SAIL !

Life Jackets on : We sailors leapt

Into the choppy waves

The Helicopters winched us up

And everyone was saved !  AMEN

This ODE to the "pleasures of sailing" was based on a Poem

by our Friend Pat !  She would appreciate some comments.

I, ANGELA, have had lots of opportunities to Sail in Auckland

Bay and only ONE capsize so far (but dont tell BRIAN !). I

didnt need the HELICOPTER another Boat fished me OUT!

Thanks for enjoying : comments please : Angela & Brian  ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡ðŸ§¡

Thanks UNCLE MIKE : Pleased you liked it ! If one has to abandon Ship one does indeed morph into a PESCIAN ! However we are programmed to live on Terra Firma so we cant be FISH for ever ! Yachting is not too dangerous but the state of the "water" (if one does capsize !) does affect chance of survival and over 1000 died in the Titanic Disaster because even though the abandoned ship they froze to death in the Water. So even Cruise Ships can be as vulnerable as an ALBACORE (our Fave Yacht !). Love & Blessings ANGELA & BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡

Nature's power should always be respected, it can never be tamed.

Good write and I am glad that you were rescued - I won't tell Brian.

Thanks UNCLE ANDY : I do love sailing and BRIAN does worry about Me (it must be love) and 11,500 miles is a lot of SEA to worry about ! SAILING does give one another degree of TWO DIMENSIONAL freedom (no roads) but I would love to learn to fly ! The KIWIS learn to sail at an early age and The MAORIS are all AQUATIC. Its 6:30 pm Sunday here (and the middle of Spring !) have a Blessed Sunday : Love to You & Joyce ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
