CAIO LAURA ~ Thanks for sharing ~ with its Year Round Sunshine etc ~ Florida does seem to Brits a bit of a Paradise Peninsular. Friends of My Parents moved from IOWA to near TAMPA FL when they retired ~ but they soon found out that it wasn't just CROCS they had to fear it was the WEATHER. And several times they have had to evacuate because of flooding hurricanes etc and this year they lost the roof of their Bungalow ! They never get SNOWED IN just BLOWN OUT ! I know Mexico Beach on the Panhandle not far from Tallahassee ~ I hear there is a lot of damage to Buildings etc ~ Winds over 150 mph ! We have been praying for FLORIDA as well as INDONESIA ! Please tell DONALD GUMP that its all due to GLOBAL WARMING ~ Warm Sea larger Tornadoes & Hurricanes ! It can only get worse ! Thanks for caring & sharing ~ IS anywhere safe ? My poem tomorrow is about Coastal Erosion in the UK due to sea level rise and worse weather ~ BOTH due to Global Warming ~ ALAS ! I will be 80 in 2063 ~ If the Planet survives but Im hoping JESUS will return before then to sort us all out ! Maybe 2033 making it 2000 Years after He went back to HEAVEN (The Ascension !) WATCH THIS SPACE ! Abbracci e Baci ~ Tu Hermano en Jesus Christo ~ BRIAN 🧡🧡🧡🧡 Please check ANGELA'S POEM on ABSENCE ACCENTUATES AMORE ~ GRAZIE ~ BRIAN 😎

            Grazie per il tuo commento!
Thank you for the read and and comments! Yes, Mexico Beach was destroyed! We’ll have to deal with whatever challenges we’re faced with! Basically, it’s beyond our control!

Well -written haiku, Laura. And while I enjoy your words, I do not subscribe to the death and destruction associated with Mother Nature's wrath. This year, around the country, was beyond belief.

            Thanks for sharing. 🙂

            • Laura🌻

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Mother Nature’s wrath...
hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions, earthquakes, fires, etc.
              INCREDIBLE!!

Having seen it on TV and heard it on the news, these words were simply crying out to be written.. and how well written too... we must not forget this awful tragedy... Neville

The wrath of nature which frequented every so often, has become a daily occurrence with immense help from man.

You voiced Mother Natures thoughts, so well

                        • Suresh

Mother Nature, just displaying it's awesome power, like your pen
