It happens every time
I lay down to rest,
When I put his music on
I am drawn into his world,
His world of peace and calm.
A place where my life relaxes,
Where I can gather my strength
To move on and progress
Into my future assured,
Assured that this music
Will always allow me
To move further in my life
No matter how strained it becomes
My life will stay calm
Because of the music he writes,
The music he writes for me.

- Comment from author about the poem: I have just discovered a new composer, Olafur Arnalds. He is an Icelandic composer and as yet I do not know too much about him but I came across his music when I was looking through a Max Richter album. The piece of his music that I have put on hear is one of the tracks of an album called Eulogy for Revolution 2017. This music really relaxes me.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful music. I feel as joyful hearing Olafur Arnalds as I felt when I heard the compositions by Yanni ("Live at the Acropolis" like "Felitsa," "Santorini," and "Aria.") for the first time.
