Going through life you look to what you should be,

And in that trip the aim is important.

You want to get to a place you think you need to be,

But the more you try the more anxious life becomes.

That anxiety changes you,

Changes you into a person you think you should be.

 

Going through life you know what you are,

That knowledge leads you to your real life.

That life where all comes to you without effort,

You feel secure and safe and happy.

That security is you,

Keeps you as that person you know that you are.

 

Tension is who you think you should be.

Relaxation is who you are.

        I am so lucky that generally I am able to 'switch off' but there times when I get anxious - more so as I get older. Fine writs Andy.

          I have always had the ability to switch off from things, so I can relax relatively easily.

          I always feel anxious around people.

            There are ways to relax, music is my prime relaxing agent.

              Thanks UNCLE ANDY we both love the Jack Lousier Trio ~ PLAY BACH ~ always very cool & relaxing ! We like the CHINESE PROVERB ! WE are qualified to do our jobs and both very satisfied doing them ~ so (in the main) we are RELAXED @ Work & Play. If promotion comes ~ it comes ~ but being Christians we have lots of inner satisfaction and inner Peace with God & Humanity. Godliness with contentment is great gain.               I have a great deal of Jacques Loussier, unsurprisingly, and have listen to him for many, many years.
              Music is often the key to relaxation, but I was happy in my work life of firtyseven years and one month, so I didn’t get too stressed there. I did get somewhat concerned bavk in 2007 when I was told if you don’t have the operation you will die.
