  A most comforting write and video Brian. There is urgency in quenching our thirst, though the hymn goes at steady pace, expressive of longing and yearning I believe.
  You 'thirsting' for me to sing it? It may seem more like a drought if I do. heehee.
  An animal, a deer here, can give the 'ahh factor' but we know it's more than being sentimental.

Jim Reeves sings a Song about an Old Man who was thrown out of the Choir because he croaked ~ and then He did. BUT when he got to HEAVEN he sang like a ANGEL and GOD put Him in His Heavenly Choir ! God hears you singing as mellow as JIM ~ AMEN. This hymn & poem is based on PSALM 42. Yours as always BRIAN

  GOOD MORNING BIG BEAR : Love the Hymn and Your Poem and the BAMBIES : Beautiful. Its past 9pm here so we have been to CHURCH (sermon on PEACE) and we had a walk on the Shore this afternoon 18C (65F) and sunny ! Have a great Sunday.     THANKS LAURA ~ Pleased you liked it ! Look @ Venus & Mars ~ Both bare and barren ~ no oxygen and only a trace of water. Inhospitable ~ unihabitable ~ no Life & no Love ! The EARTH is between BUT it is totally different It is the ONLY LIVING PLANET in the Solar System and (thus far) in the Milky Way ! It is LIFE ~ The Flora & The Fauna & Insectivora & Microorganisms that cause & control the Atmosphere and maintain Earths ambient temperature @ 16C. The control is maintained by complex Mineral Cycles (water - oxygen - carbon - nitrogen etc) and complex Food Chains & Food Webs ! All these processes existed before MAN and would continue if the HUMAN RACE died out ! Science cannot answer the Questions ~ When - Where - Why & How did life appear ? Neither can it answer the Question ~ Where did the matter in the Physical Universe originate from ? I have studied Studied (& Taught) Science for over 20 Years and for me (and millions of others) there is only one rational answer ~ GOD DID IT ~ AMEN. That is why the first verse in the Bible reads 'In the beginning GOD created the Heavens & the Earth'. The rest of the Bible (The Word of GOD) follows from that ~ OK. Consequently ALL NATURE is God's Handiwork ! Without GOD there would be NO UNIVERSE ~ NO LIVING PLANET EARTH ~ NO Bambies and NO You & Me ~ OK. Yours as always BRIAN !

    THANKS UNCLE MIKE ~ Pleased you enjoyed the Video ~ Visual & Sentiment. LORNA posed the same QUESTION so in my answer to her I have answered YOU as well ~ please consult. My PROVISO is GOD can exist without NATURE & the Physical UNIVERSE ~ BUT ~ they cannot (and would not ) exist without a Creator God. I have has the privilege to study the Physical & Biological Sciences (and also teach) since 2001 and I still cannot answer (neither can Scientists) the questions of ORIGINS I posed in my answer to LORNA. If DAWKINS was SURE the answers lie in a Primeval Bonfire Night (BIG BANG) or Protoplasm in a Primeval Pool (Darwins phrase) he would have posted on the LONDON BUS ~ "There is NO GOD" NOT PROBABLY ! A priori it is equally PROBABLE (on the available evidence) that there IS A GOD ~ OK and that is where I stand ~ AMEN. It is a cyclic argument so in essence there is NO ANSWER and I and my fellow SCIENTISTS who are CHRISTIANS accept by FAITH that GOD not only created but also SUSTAINS the UNIVERSE 24/7. I rest my CASE ~ Your Good Friend as always BRIAN !
