Are not the only Fruit on the Market !
YELLOW ~ colour of JOY ~ GO BANANAS !
BLUE & YELLOW combine and then form GREEN
GREEN ~ is Natures calming colour in more
Than forty shades in the EMERALD ISLE !
BLUE the colour of the SEA & SKY ~ it has
A natural neutrality ~ beloved
By many Football Teams ! Indigo ~ Is
More sensual ! BLUE & RED form PURPLE
Colour of the ROYAL and the HOLY
REFRACT WHITE Light through a prism ~ R A I N B O W

COLOUR has always been important to HOMO SAPIENS
especially when he invented FOOTBALL ! When GOD
created MAN he created the EYE (how could that evolve ?)
to see all the COLOURS of Planet Earth and to be able to
detect MOVEMENT and thousands of SHADES. It is only in
recent time that Man has been able to manufacture Optical
devices to do what the HUMAN EYE has been doing for
THOUSANDS of YEARS ! I have studied the Chemistry of
Textiles and Pigments & Dyestuffs (natural & synthetic)
and I can sure say ~ colourwise ~ What a Wonderful World !

I have always liked the L A Song Colours of the Rainbow and the video with it complements your POEM : We do indeed live in a very COLOURFUL World ! Its been warm today 70F (21C) and sunny ! Remember in NZ we are moving from Spring (November) into Summer (December). After shopping Ruth & I were sailing again today with Ruths cousins ! I have been at Christmas & N Y and it seems very weird to be Sailing on Boxing Day in 25C weather ! I am keeping very busy we have Carols in Sainsburys and in the Village Hall and lots of Advent related Services in Church. I will send you a Programme so you can pray for us ! Work is busy with Christmas Dinners in the Training Restaurant starting next week. I am hosting the Pensioners Lunch and also one for the local School Heads and the one for the Science / Maths staff. THANKS UNCLE MIKE ~ HOPE YOU WILL SOON BE FEELING BETTER ! Being Saturday Morning I had a bit more time to compose & post it. Im quite pleased WITH IT ~ and a supportive comment from Angela (Sailing in the Sun !) and your good self ~ more than compensates. I'd only just been promoted in my Job and taken on Staff so it was the wrong time to get an exchange with the University of Auckland. Im on their books for the future ~ in case ANGELA does NOT want to come home in September 2019 ! The ACADEMIC YEAR in NZ & OZ runs from Jan to Jan. We have had exchange Lecturers (Maths) from OZ in the past. They are very very laid back ! Yours as always BRIAN.
Colour is surely a gift from above and brings variety to human experience as this fine sonnet suggests. Love the number too by Louis Armstrong who knew what a wonderful world we live in here on earth. and sang his testimony to any who listened. Though you are at present leading such a busy schedule thank you Brian for posting this tribute to the colourful rainbow.

Because GOD created such a Colourful World ~ He equipped H Sapiens with Bifocal Vision able to see in movement in 3D and to distinguish all the colours & shades in the VISIBLE SPECTRUM which lies between the INFRARED & the ULTRAVIOLET ~ AMEN. A fine write Brian. Oohhh we have buses in colour schemes in our town - true! Some fancy pink ones are now a more purple colour. We have red routes, yellow routes, etc. It's moving on to animal-routes now, as they are running out of colours.
I of course get the claret route, though they said they don't serve it on the buses. Where is the sherry route? Doh!

Thanks UNCLE STEVE : Angela here. Its conditioning even in Spain it can SNOW on Christmas Day : in the Sierra Nevada ! Yesterday Saturday (Its Sunday here now 12:30 pm ) it said 17 November and my car thermometer said 21C (70F). On Christmas Day it is forecast to be 25C (77F). Ill believe that when I experience it. God not only created the rainbow to be a covenant with mankind, but we will see these exact colors circling the LORD's throne in His Shekinah Glory at the "White Throne Judgment."
