Consumed by Mercs.

Goldfinch60

Driving down the road,

Minding my own business

When I caught up with one.

Looked in my rear view mirror

And there was another behind me.

Then I looked to my right

And there was one coming out,

Out into the road

To join the traffic.

And then blow me

Another came from the left.

I looked ahead,

There on the other side of the road

Was another one,

Coming towards me.

It was just not my day

To be driving my Skoda,

As I was being consumed,

Consumed by Mercs!

It's the large 4by4s that annoy me - usually driven with an arrogance only surpassed by Prince Andrew.

          Spot on Bill

Agree Bill, these large 'off road' 4 by 4s always seem to be so clean!

ahem! ... i drive a merc.... wossa mattah wiff drivin a merc then?

They don't goose step any longer and there aint many UK car makes to choose from (they all fell apart). Anyway, mercedes are the same company as the american Dodge car company now. I also used to have a merc sprinter van which i have to say was the best van i ever ran (ooh poetic) at the end of the street, it could pick up its feet, i drove slowly so as not to get banned ...... the merc muse of mps?

Nothing wrong with Mercs - I have to say that as my brother has one - it was just very strange though to be surrounded by Mercs as I drove along the road.

Well, some folk have money then.
We might say, Ahem, so at a church. When an appeal was made, people dashed to put money in the hat! How much of it was sacrificial giving, I don't know.
