My dearest Sharon
In your deepest thoughts
Perhaps you remember me
The boy with love you taught
That was me hiding
In the shadows of your youth
Until I learned you’d be leaving
And I confessed to you my truth
Please forgive me love
For being so shy
Didn’t know how to say
I love you, but I had to try
I took a chance
Out on that limb
But I had to tell you
Or live my life regretting
Out from the silhouette
Into the light
My identity revealed
For you to see me right
I hope you knowing
The love for you I speak of
Not of guilt, but of pride
My silhouette of love

Another beautiful poem AP, effortlessly written from loves heart.
Thanks Sax, My Muse gets all the credit. I just lend my hands to type it out. 😉
Great use of words
The poem is Amazing!
The title of the poem is amazing!
Amazing!
Thank you Aliyah, I'm lucky to have had a beautifully gifted subject. 😉
I wonder how many could confess the same feelings
Or the courage Ron. It's only because I knew she was leaving soon that I knew if I didn't tell her, she'd never know. And I'd live to regret it. My only hope is that she didn't regret knowing. Thanks Ron for reading and your comment.
my pleasure
deepest love personified within the confines of a poem ... there is seriously something very special going on here .... N
54 years long N. 😊 Thanks for your caring comment.
Who could not respond to this kind of life-long love and confessed with such tenderness - -- a deeply heart-moving read my friend.
Thank you Fay. Nice to know that this is all seen from a positive viewpoint the same as I have seen it for so long. 😊
That love will only get stronger AP.
Andy
I always knew that I'd always love her, but I didn't know it would grow this strong. And yes, it will deepen for the rest of my life. Thanks Andy.
I pray for the miracle to happen that one day you and your Sharon meet again.
If not here on Earth, I know where we will meet again. 😉 Thanks m&m
