Floccinaucinihilipilification Acrostic.

Goldfinch60

FOR SAXON CROW!

Feeling decidophobic

Leads to lack of dreams

Oneirophobia becomes the norm

Coaxing lack of euphoria

Coming into your life.

Institutionalised thoughts betray the

Naturalistic way of your thoughts becoming

Atichiphobic so making you fail your

Underlying wisdom that

Cannot now be resurrected from your

Infinitesimally shrunken mind as

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia has overcome you

Irrefutably bringing megolomaniacal

Logophobia into your lack of reading

Into your superficial joyless words.

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Is now within you

Leading to the bedridden

Intercolonization now within you

Caught in this Bibliophobia

As you throw out those books

Through the decidophobic way of your life

Into which bogeyphobia

Over comes the good life,

Now floccinaucinihilipilification is you.

  • Comment from author about the poem: When I published my last Acrostic on here a few days ago Saxon Crow commented: "Nice one GF. Now write an acrostic using the word Floccinaucinihilipilification" So never one not to accept a challenge here it is. You may need a dictionary with you!!

Wow! So difficult to pronounce but I'm still practising. Next step is to look up the meaning. Really learnt new words, thank you!

              • Goldfinch60

Thank you Rozina, this word and some of the others in the poem are rarely used.

                Andy
