the love which made us who we are

dusk arising

there is love,
and there is love
and there is love
no two loves are the same
love is precious
love is true
love is the gift of our lives
but
there will always be that one love
the love beyond compare
because it became
enduring love
the love which changed us
the love which contained us
the love which made us

love came, love left
love taught
love endured
but there will never be
that one love
ever again

I love this message! Love definitely differs and as you put it, "no two loves are the same." I feel that everyone has that bond with someone special that is impossible to beat. Thanks for such a beautiful message! 💖

I've ever only known two loves: the love of my family and the love of my wife and they are both as strong as they ever were - I guess I'm blessed.

So very true d a, but the love of my long life was taken from me but now there is another love in my life which has surprised both of us so much.
