Wolf

kitty the naughty poet

Come summer and spring

free spirits follow along the

stepping-stones of the lone wolf

playing happily amidst the sun's bright eyes

howling at the moon at night

but when the cold winds blow

autumn and winter touch the ground

the lone wolf dies but the pack will always survive

      Kitty's pet wolf?!
I wish I would shut up about Kitty sometimes. Well, Fido wishes so anyway! lol.

        Kitty is still napping
        AKA ... writer's block ☹😱😖😣

'Here, Kitty, Kitty'! I'm only calling the cat in from the garden! heehee. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

          that's the dream, either
          by heritage or deeds
          imbedded into posterity's annals
          like your poetic wolf, legacy
is what all our efforts, distilled
to its original spark of intent, reveals itself
          as...
(a meaningfully deep write, easily overlooked
          for its poetic merit alone
          thanks for sharing, dear Poet)
