Spare a Moment for These Words
Spare a moment for these words
don’t be afraid to linger ..
Feel free to take each one of them in
to sip, to feast upon and gorge ..

- Comment from author about the poem: the words that make up this particular little scribble are intended as the forward, or intro to my proposed seventh anthology which will either be called 'The Mending of a Broken Man, or 'Chasing Light' .. we are as yet undecided .. any ideas appreciated .. N :)

You broken? You all fallen in a heap? Can we repair you with superglue?
Good write N. I don't know which title I would choose.
I am a little bruised here & there but each one is heart shaped .. thank you Steven 🙂
I like the title ‘ chasing light ‘ just my opinion . ))
thank you VB (utbyr) 🙂 I kinda like it too .................. N
You already have poems published in a book ? Someone once suggested that I should try publishing some of mine .. but I prefer just sharing them on the internet . Well done on getting your poems or writings published )
I guess every one is different .. monies raised from each of my books goes to cancer research and mental health charities .. I am grateful for your message here & seriously thank you for it .. N x
That’s really nice , to give it all to charity 🙂 I think sometimes people discriminate against those with mental health problems .. and that’s not nice is it .
How can I find your books ?
You can click on the individual photos in my photo's here to see the front and rear covers of each book and its title 🙂 x
..... and find within, what meaning you will for everything meaningful resides in you already.
.
ho-hum... just a thought
I like em .. your thoughts that is .. or at least those you dare to share sir DA .................... N 🙂
I await, Hyung
thank you! for the great news
its made my week..
as for recommending a title
may I propose, the title to this
subtly, enticing write
I think
I'd be drawn to the humble confidence
in a book of poetry, titled:
'Spend a moment for these words'
speaks to the authors intentions
so succinctly and with such sincerity!
(that's my 2 cents - worth
yeah, I know
there's a reason its valued
at almost, free)
lol
all the best, dear Poet
Now there's a thought .. and he thanks you for it & oh' so very truly ..................... Neville 🙂
Am never afraid to spare more than a moment for your extraordinary work mon ami - -- - best of wishes for your next published book - I rather favour Chasing Light.............x
thank you dear lady Fay .................................. x
I vote for chasing light but it depends on the subject matter I suppose. Fantastic write, N!
thank you C .................................. your contribution & vote are safely stowed in the hypothetical ballot box of my mind 🙂
Really nice and neat. Sometimes poetry really could just be chugged like liquid, it's quite fascinating.
I have always found it to be so .................. cheers Rocky .. Neville
A pleasure to read your lines as friend
A pleasure to appreciate the clever lines as an audience
A pleasure will be to put hands on book of yours
Both titles are very interesting
It’s hard for me to choose
Special in their own way
But I would like one “Chasing Light” as well
Publish both dear Neville
thank you dear spills, I shall take on board all that you have said & shuffle them round in my little round head 🙂 x
Hahaaa and an exclusive autograph too
Chasing a Broken man - no it doesn't sound inviting too sombre. Mending a Broken Light - mmm. Chasing a Broken Light. Stick eith Chasing Light.
Cheers Michael sir .. I'm tickled pink ........................................ Neville
I always sip your words Neville and get the right taste of them.
Andy
then I consider my self to be well n truly quaffed my golden friend 🙂
Dear Neville,
I’m looking forward to add your seventh anthology to the other six. I like your ‘little scribble’ as the forward and I’m partial to
‘The Mending of a Broken Man’ as the title.
Thank you for sharing.
Laura🌻
it don't happen often Laura, but I am well and truly lost for words & can not thank you enough my lovely friend for visiting today and that extraordinarily generous & amazingly kind gesture .. oh' and whilst at it, I also thank you on behalf of those charities that will inevitably benefit .. 🌻🌻xxx
aah, but to dwell in the words of a broken man is to tempt reinvention upon new paths. Inspiring words N. Thank you for what I needed to see. 😉👍
and I in turn, am most grateful to you my fine literary friend ... Neville
And round and round we go. 😉
