Tune: Easter Hymn
('Jesus Christ is risen today. Alleluia!')
Luke 24 v.1-12 parts
********
On Sunday, early morning - Alleluia!
Some came to tomb, day dawning - Alleluia!
To bind body with spices - Alleluia!
As the Jewish custom this - Alleluia!
They found the stone rolled away - Alleluia!
Jesus' body not seen, they - Alleluia!
Perplexed, then two men stood by - Alleluia!
They gave message, and drew nigh - Alleluia!
Saying, Why seek you living - Alleluia!
Among the dead? True this thing - Alleluia!
That He is not here, but He - Alleluia!
Suffered, died, now risen be - Alleluia!
Mary Magdalene was there - Alleluia!
And Joanna she did share - Alleluia!
In the good news, and Mary - Alleluia!
Mother of James midst them there - Alleluia!
They and other women told - Alleluia!
The apostles, witness bold - Alleluia!
What they had heard and had seen - Alleluia!
Just what events there had been - Alleluia!
Christ now risen from the dead - Alleluia!
Now He ever lives our Head - Alleluia!
Our hope of life eternal - Alleluia!
Salvation now unto all - Alleluia!

Enjoy this, your special day Mr. O
Thanks N.
Nice one - Miss Berles still hasn't revealed whare the Syllables are.
Thanks M. I might overdo the Alleluias. Might have to move on to Hallelujahs. Are they the same? Miss Berles knows.
No but she tells me there are plenty of 'H's in store. So worry not.
How is she with the supply of 'j's? And I may have to change to 'Alleluya' if I run out of 'i's! It's tricky stuff.
There's plenty of them about this season - it must be lambing season for them, or something.
Dear Orchi,
Wishing you a Blessed Easter.
