Of old, Lord, you have foundation

Of the world laid, each nation

Earth and heavens you have all made

In your wisdom they arrayed

 

They shall perish, but you endure

You who live for evermore

All shall wax old as a garment

None remaining permanent

 

As a cloak you shall change them, they

Shall not ever stay alway

And they shall be changed, but you not

Change from your eternal lot

 

You are the same, and your years shall

Have no end, this we know well

Your servants and your descendants

Shall abide with confidence
