School kids learn to sign the words to the song,
“Don’t Worry About a Thing” to a deaf classmate.
Every day, an elderly man with Dementia goes outside to play catch with the neighborhood kids,
thinking it’s for the first time. The kids come back every day for two years.
A 93-year-old woman waves to the school bus full of kids from her house each day. On her birthday, the bus stops
at her house and all the kids say “Happy Birthday” to the elderly woman.
A young man asks his stepfather if he can have his last name too.
A little girl is delighted when her favorite football player waves to her.
A young girl singing in a choir sees that her soldier dad who’s
been away for 400 days is there and witnessed her performance.
A little girl brings dolls to a hospital to give
to Dementia patients to brighten up their day.
A small child gets a hearing aid and hears his
mother say “I love you” for the first time.
A police officer stops traffic so a mother duck can
cross the road with all her little ducklings in tow.
A young girl finishes her last chemotherapy, and on the drive home passes through
a parade rally in her honor with hundreds of towns people cheering her on.
At a Major League baseball game, a 12-year-old boy receives a foul ball and
immediately turns around and gives it to the little girl behind him.
Firemen help ducklings out of a sewer drain to join their mother duck.
A woman soldier returns home to her waiting dog where
both dog and woman cry happy tears.
Watching the movie “Forever Young” (1992) with Mel Gibson and Isabel Glasser.
Losing loved ones that I needed more time with.

Good write AP.
Thanks Orchi. Although I did forget one from above, when you sing. π
Indeed it is life, my friend. A tender and poignant write!
Thanks Distant View, hope you enjoyed it. π
Gee - such imagery in this poignant write - bravo.
Thanks. Michael. π
AP it's happy sad perfection!
This came from watching a few of those YouTube videos on Acts of Kindness and Soldiers Surprise Coming Home. I had noticed that certain videos will bring an automatic response from me, being sad or happy, but both with tears. Sort of a look in your own mirror at what effects your heart. Thanks for the read and compliment Sax. π
I thought it was. I've seen the same bids and I get the same response. Great minds and all that!

I loved reading this poem.
Not so much of a poem as is just a self-look in the mirror of what gets a response from me. Sad or happy, both brought out the tears. π€ Glad you like it Rozina.
So beautiful, these things make me cry myself
That's shows the beauty in your heart from how you react. π
Thank you so much AP
Such very true words AP, life is wonderful despite the problems many have.
