it was as if the land talked
entering my mind through
some instinctive hereditary vibration
comforting and rassuring
like those childhood times
in grandpa's house
safe, completely relaxed
here out on the land
trees welcoming
I am proud to be among them
something long lost
has come home
i am actually part of all this

Lovely writing dusk )) love nature and it’s so important to look after .
Yep, we are all a part of it.
Good message and it’s true that some places, well loved call out for you…
More a frame of mind for me these days (i'm getting quite old). Being out there, anywhere away from people, does something to me.
How coincidental. I was aiming for the same feeling in my poem today. Great stuff dusk
Thank you Saxon. It must be something in the air.
Such true words d a, if only we could all walk in peace with Nature.
Andy
Most of us probably do after a good few years on the planet, it's what we do beforehand which leaves a lot to be desired i think.
Wow, that final line hit like a truck. Yes, we are all part of this marevlous world. I just hope we can all cherish it and spread kindness instead of hate.
Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if we could. If we rid the world of it's religious organisations and their idealism we might be taking a step into the right direction. They talk of love and devotion but only if played by their rules.
fine words indeed .. and how bloomin true .........................................Neville
Yep, i think i might actually be taking roots too.
Nice one dusk
Thank you M.E. In the 70's words of the KIng Crimson track.... 'I talk to the wind, my words are all carried away'.
"as if the land talked," "I am proud to be among them." human connection to the land and Nature. WE are all a part of it. It is time to take care of her, this planet. Liked your sense of connection taking you back in time. - Phil A.
We surely are all a part of the whole though over the years our technical 'progress' has separated us from the basics of our existence.
