Her New Chapter In Life.

Goldfinch60

She has waited a long time for this,

This new chapter in her life,

But it has finally come to pass,

That chapter bringing everything together

And giving her so much joy.

She has given her all to her work

Over nearly thirty years,

But they just did not know

Or they just did not care

That the person in her body

Wanted the job she had trained for,

The job she knew was hers.

And then it came,

The work that will lead her,

Lead her to make that difference,

That difference in her life

And in the lives of many others.

Her world has become fulfilled,

Fulfilled with joy and wonder

Which all around can see

And which will grow in her life

And fill this chapter in her life

To absolute fulfilment and wonder.

    Great news Gold.
I'm becoming tired of job-seeking. Why should I stress so much over it? I'm due to retire in less than a year. I'm semi-retired now already virtually. Doh!

Yes it is great news Orchi.

I have been very fortunate in my life as I have never been out of work and did my 47 years and one month before retiring, been retired for 11 years in June.

Sometimes it can feel as if I've been OUT of work for 47 years and 1 month. Doh!
One of my brothers started a job after school age, and never looked backed since. He has been given presentations; extra holidays; long service leave; etc. In Spain with his wife as we now speak.

Congratulations to her - you must be proud as we all are at the successes of our children - a well expressed write.

          So true Michael, thank you.
