('Oft in danger, oft in woe')
Philippians 4 v.6-8
********
Do be anxious for nothing
But in life, in every thing
By supplication and prayer
Bring needs to God, He is there
Adn with thanksgiving also
Pray, that God your requests know
Though He knows all things before
We ask them of Him, 'tis sure
And then the peace of God which
He shall give unto you rich
It past full understanding
But comfort to us does bring
His peace shall keep your hearts, minds
Through Christ Jesus, each one finds
Think on things true, just, honest
Pure, lovely, so you be blest
And on things of good report
Virtuous things to you brought
And anything praiseworthy
Pleasant, agreeable be

I wonder if he seem what was coming and prayed to go home?
Thanks 2. Notice the short name there. lol.
I've been thinking about 2, it doesn't divide by 3. Unless of coarse you go to fractions,.
Now I had to use my calculator and 2÷3 makes that number that promotes fear. Spooky.
Arghh! Not that 6.... number! Even James Bond is 007 not that 6 number, or even 006. A useless digression there from me! lol. I'm Agent 2 and half. What are you?
Having got a rank yet, just happy to be on the team!
I feel your heart on this.
Thanks B.
God one Orchi

This is spectacularly written dear poet. I can only imagine you have like books and books full of your hymns. Quite the prolific poet, indeed!
Thanks Rocky. The trouble is, I'm gonna sing them all! Why does everyone says 'Argggh!? Cos it's me singing. lol.
I love the second last stanza, says it all. Great write!
Thanks Bella. Yes, though He knows all before we ask, we know it's not pointless to pray!
Not like some work meetings where it may be said 'The Manager/ess has decided what we're going to do anyway, whatever we discuss; we always do what he/she says anyway'. Doh!
