Line Dancing.

Goldfinch60

Here we are again,

Once more at our second home,

Once more at our hotel

On the beautiful Isle of Wight.

Settled in nicely,

Went down for dinner,

Had a wonderful meal

And then went in the bar,

Went to see a Country and Western singer

Who we have seen many times before.

As he sang some people got up

And started line dancing,

And very good they were too.

But what I couldn’t understand

Was their faces,

It must be the done thing,

Not to smile while line dancing.

Might be concentrating on the steps?

    • Goldfinch60

They may well be 2781 but I always thought dancing was for enjoyment,

I’m very glad that you take time to teach the youngsters that the music and the dance is ageless

          Thank you Bobby.

            They certainly do Orchi.

Well its very difficult dancing on a line - but good fun or so I'm told.

            • Goldfinch60

It certainly may be Michael but they chose to do it. LOL

Line dancing is a very structured dance so I guess the concentration takes away the joy lol oh Andy and Mary Happy New Year. 🤗

              • Goldfinch60

Maybe Teddy, but surely dancing is for enjoyment, Happy New year to you as well.

I was just teasing about the structure. LOL line dancing is anything but serious.
