If I were only one inch tall,
no one could see me if I fall.
I'd drown inside a shower stall.
To be that small, to be that small.

I don't complain much as a rule,
but being tiny can be cruel.
For 'everything' I'd need a stool.
Feel like a fool, feel like a fool.

I could not do the things I like,
not even ride my ten speed bike?
Wild birds would stalk me if I hike.
I'd need a psych, I'd need a psych.
**
Not much a one inch dude can do.
Would be unbearable it's true.
I'd find a hole to crawl into.
And sit and stew, and sit and stew.
**
If it came true to my dismay.
For only one thing I would pray.
God send a "one inch gal" my way!

- Comment from author about the poem: The form Monotetra was created by Michael Walker It has a mono rhyme scheme in each stanza. It has four lines per stanza, eight syllables each line. In the last line of each stanza, four syllables are repeated as if in an echo. A little refrain. Each stanza can have a different rhyme, but all four lines within each stanza must rhyme~

Far too complicated for me to get

I’m a guy that can’t dance but for a minute I could sway in a tantalizing way just by borrowing your rythym . It was joyful and so logically constructed the piece had a versatility regarding a read could attach to various cadence. I’m thinking that with the smallish things so prevalent in Texas that you chose the subject matter for therapy.
