Dang Tree!

orchidee

I'm having a spot of bother

Why isn't this Christmas tree growing?

I've put it in soil

Gave it some water

Clipped off any dead-looking branches

Given it bells, baubles, etc

And stuck KP on the top of it

The botox fairy, she is

Rather trout-like!

And why no loose pine needles

That I usually have to sweep up?

 

Woof! Says Fido to me - Have a bit of sense

It's an artificial tree! (LOL)

    Orchi have used artifical trees for years they drop needles too. After a few years they look a little bald. A fun read

                    A fun fun read. We have a real tree because it seems to deter our cats from climbing and, even if they did, that would not knock it down! 🤣 Neither here nor there, what I shared...but this is true...you are wonderful poet, friend, through and through! ! Much enjoyed! 🌹
