You asked me over to your house
You shared with me Your poetry
You shared with me Your heart and soul
So enlightening and passionate
Each word floats into my ears
Planting itself upon my soul
Your wards opened Heaven's door
Your words brought me straight to Hell's gate
Truth in your poetry
Pure and simple
When I shared with you my poetry
I could see you were just as captivated
My words like yours
Opened doors and pathways for you
When we were done
We rest
Exhausted but energized
So happy to share with each other
Mind, heart, and soul

You made a connection there
Thank you
And more so now than at any time in the past! With technology at our finger tips remote and instantaneous connections are made from house to house, continent to continent!
Thank you
Welcome Tony 🙏🏻👍🏻🕊
It is so nice when others listen to what we have to say and even better when they hear what we feel. A lovely write
Thank you

Thank you
You are very welcome
A wonderful encounter. Well written
Thank you David
Wonderful...and this reminds me of when I was a teenager and wrote poetry and would share it with my friends,. This one best friend I had then was allowed to let people write things on her wall. Several poems, in several places, were crafted there. I will never remember what they were...but writing them with her and others by me, that memory will never fade as long as I've got my faculties about me. Again...a wonderful poem, Tony! Thanks for walking me down memory lane! 🌹👏 Faved.
Thank you Tristan

Poetry can certainly bring every emotion Tony, the same as music can to me.

Nicely done, Tony. A fine write. That last line just nailed it perfectly.
