We cannot function well
with a damaged brain
and we certainly cannot live
without a heart
so what about love?
love, can we really live
and survive without it?

Well I guess we can but without it it would a dour sad world - loadsa luv Teddy xx
Awe... I agree but not everyone does. Loads of luv right back at you dear Mr Edwards... πΉ
So many things just to function normally and mostly undervalued or even ignored. Sad truth and state of affairs.
Thank you dear arqios I don't think anyone can answer this question but we can certainly debate it. πΉ
Haha, true. Debating is not really my thing but yes, a healthy exchange of opinions is always on the table ππ»πποΈ
Live like love has many definitions. We can exist without love but is that living? A wonderful question put in such a poetic touch. Lovely
You found my profound deepness in this one dearest sorrenbarret, indeed there are many many types of love from parents to companion from a dog or cat to a deeply loved fish. Definitions that we all see differently. My favourite subject that never gets old, ps I once saw a documentary about an octopus and I truly found myself very sad at the end when it died. And indeed dear sorrenbarret, a stranger that has become a friend online after all we are part of a community even though we have never met.πΉ
Thank you dear friend. Love is all around us it is nature and the universe. It is the force and as such nothing exists without it. Love is gentle it is hard it is heaven and hell.
I'll drink a tequila to that my dear sorrenbarret πΉπ
Oof, this is beautiful. I hate that word but I'm using it, such a thought-provoking and reflective poem!
My favourite subject never ending never boring always something to reflect on, thank you so much dear LP. πΉ
You're very welcome, your reflections always resonate with me.
Dear Teddy. What a question. There are many types of love. We love people in different ways. I canβt imagine going through life without ever loving anyone at all. Youβd have to be completely heartless, completely dead inside. Just existing, no joy. Have a beautiful Sunday πΉ
100% agreed dearest Cassie. Thank you for you most wonderful review. πΉ
Such an enigmatic question my friend. We may be able to physically live without it, but in order to survive we must have it, for it fosters empathy and compassion, without which we would live in a cold and uncaring world. An excellent write Dear Teddy!!!
Dearest Bella, thank you dear friend, a cold uncaring world indeed, your words are always precious to me dear friend, thank you so much πΉ
But what kind of life without it? You are the best sweet Teddy.
Right!!!!! It's heaven and hell π€£ thank you sweet Thomas. πΉ
Itβs a simple yet powerful reminder that love is just as vital as our brain and heart. Loved it!
Thank you so much, a question that I'm sure has many answers. Thank you so much for coming by πΉ
Not sure we can survive with it. Not sure whether living with it is anu harder than living without it. I've been on both sides, grass is not greener either way. Nice.
Good morning dear Dan, absolutely, I've been on both sides too, wonderful to hear your view, thank you. πΉ
NO!
Andy
lol π€£ Andy you are very precise for a fellow Libra.
Love, you can't see it or touch it, but you can see and feel it's effect on you. And THAT my dear Teddy is worth every micro-second of our lives, πΉππ
Absolutely dearest A.P thank you... πΉ π€
love comes in various shapes, sizes and ways - so i would say, yes, it is needed so that once we care, life changes for both giver and receiver
enjoyed the read
Thank you so much dear NafisaSB πΉ
