My Journey

Tony36

I will choose to enjoy the journey

God has set before me

I know it will not be easy

I know there will be times I'll want to quit

But I won't

Why

Life is about the journey

Traveling life's pathways

Enjoying the sights and sounds

Yes not everyday will be sunshine

Yes there will be storms

Bring it

Only through life's storms

Can we truly grow

God knows that

But God will never give us more than we can handle

So enjoy life's journey

Learn along the way

Go forward into the sun

The journey is not easy. Frought with challenges, but out of the trying times come strength. That is how we grow. Nicely penned Tony.

Dang! But you remind me in these lines so much of my late father! He used to gently remonstrate with me that, ".. it's all about the journey--" and how beautifully rendered, complete with perfect imagery and a excellently heartening poignancy you've offered it again to me. Thank you very, very much!

Nice poem really- my previous write was not a history lesson- it is psychology too. Jalousy does not belong to libertine- neither violence does. Religion as power will come next.
