No3 From MORE OF THE DIFFERENT
I thought I’d write a book but such was my luck
for the subject I chose was glue
and on chapter one I got hopelessly stuck
for I’d failed to think it all through

You're welcome
lol π stuck indeed, I am going to be curious and ask why do so many of your painting have the church in it? I'm really just being curious but I would love to know? If you don't mind of course. π€ I believe another way to use the word curious is simply to call me a nosy cow π π€£
Good question - most of my commission work is for peoples houses, the Church where they got married, and the village they live (or lived) in. When painting a village scene (or any scene for that matter) it is important to have a focal point or something that contrasts with other structures to provide interest. In most villages the church fills this role and also it is usually a dominant feature from almost any angle and the first building that people will instantly recognise.
Very kind of you to let me know, so many remind me of Twickenham and Richmond where I last lived before moving abroad. πΉ Thank you dear Michael.
Love it. The humor and the pic is stunning! Well done, Michael!
Thats so encouraging and much appreciated - thanks Tristan.
