The howling wind blows strong today
and on the lawn where children play
a caravan is lying flat
and that is very odd is that
we didn’t have one yesterday.

During the hurricane of 1987 I was working as an Inspector in the Housing Department in Medway Council and one of the Inspectors came in and said that he had seen a greenhouse in the middle of the road and none of the glass had been broken. Your limerick brough tis thought back to me, thank you Michael.

Now that’s too funny🙏🏻🕊️
Good write and pic M.
Touchette! You matched my wind poem. As I have said before I love limericks and this is another good one that made me smile and that's good for a fave
I have missed your Limericks, so this one is not only hilarious, but a sight for these blessed eyes. Well done, Michael! Hope you are feeling better and better. 🌹👏
Now caravans are for travelling in
And to move around in one ain’t no sin.
Trouble is I ain’t got no car,
So I don’t go so very far
When the wind dun it for me, that’s a win.
Excellent write
Maybe just a bit too much wind lol oh that poor caravan, there wasn't a BBQ on the go was there? 🤣
