Repairing the old
broken pieces joined with gold
a joy to behold.

Beautiful pot. Love Kintsugi! A beautiful Senyru, my friend. Powerful poem! Well done, Michael! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks Tristan - a rhyming haiku but why not?
A wonderful haiku that is so fitting for that art form. Thanks for sharing
Its a great art form - cheers Soren.
Most welcome Michael
As an artist, you did an outstanding job on this pottery made out of papier mache. You are revitalizing the art of Kintsugi, a Japanese term for repairing art. Your work is stunning. Keep creating.
What a lovely comment - I am predominantly a watercolourist but love other forms of art including paper clay pottery and all genres of art leaning on the more abstract. I have already sold to the USA and numerous other countries but as I get older I am slowing down in my output. Also as far as poetry is concerned I am now writing shorter mainly humerous pieces rather the more serious writes of the past. Nevertheless i sure will keep creating.
I've heard of this infrequently, yet sufficiently enough to be charmed that you so capably delivered in sweet brevity. Thank you for sharing and for that note.
Pleased you liked it Missy
Just beautiful!🕊🙏🏻
Aw thanks arqios

A feast today, Michael - a rhyming haiku (a worthy new form I hope takes off), mention of kintsugi (what's not to revere about that) and last but not least your handsomely textured pot.
The purists may criticise - but that's their problem - cheers DD
That way of repairing pots is a wonder to behold Michael.
Andy
whenever a precious pot breaks, i wish i knew the art of restoring it to an even more priceless treasure, the Japanese way - but unfortunately have to throw it away
short and very effective verse
