We carry echoes from mistakes once made,
Old shadows tracing paths we can’t retrace.
Regret like autumn leaves begins to fade,
Yet wisdom grows within each fragile place.
The hands of time refuse to turn around,
What’s lost remains beyond our earthly reach.
But every dawn in golden light is found
A chance to mend ourselves to learn to teach.
Though yesterdays are carved in memory’s stone,
Today’s soft clay invites a gentler hand.
With every breath new seeds of hope are sown,
Fresh courage springs where once we could not stand.
So let us greet each morning without fear,
And walk towards the future, year by year.

So nicely put Andy time can not be turned back and waits for no man. We might as well make good use of it while we have it. A great sonnet

A great write - I often think back on mistakes made in the past (nothing major I might add) but then others who may have known of them have either passed away or in all probability have long since forgotten them. I like to think that I learnt from them and am a better person as a result.
Thank you Michael. We all learn from our mistakes, it is called experience and you cannot teach experience.
