              HIYA JANE ~ Love it when you get all philosophical ~ but what you say (in your poem) is both true and profound. We are all very obsessed with our outward appearance but the GOOD BOOK says that "GOD sees and knows the INNER MAN and INNER WOMAN (our personality)" If we would know ourselves ~ and achieve our potential we must see ourselves and know ourselves INSIDE OUT ~ See ourselves as GOD see us ~ AMEN.
