Face.

Goldfinch60

Looking at someone face

You see the normal things.

Ears, eyes, nose and mouth.

The chin, or maybe two,

Eyebrows, hair or none.

But all faces can show so much more,

Hate, despair, anger, jealousy, loathing;

Love, hope, calm, mercy, admiration.

So much to show, so many emotions.

Remember this though above all others,

If you fill your face with laughter,

There will be no room for crying.

    So right the face tells so much. My wife always makes a point of smiling. In restaurants or out shopping she gets great service whereas my hero is Victor Meldrew. (Who is Victor Meldrew I hear our American friends ask) . Love the poem.

      THANKS FRIEND ~ For a lovely reminder about how much our faces reveal our inner moods and attitudes. When Moses came down from Mount Sinai after meeting God ~ his face shone like the face of an Angel ! Moses did not know it but the people did ! I greet people every Sunday on the way OUT of Church and they ALWAYS look much happier than when they went in ! INNER happiness is expressed by OUTER JOY ~ AMEN ! Yours BRIAN
