SPRING CHICK WITH DAFFODILS ~ SPRING SURE HAS SPRUNG
WINTER into SPRING the best Season change
I EXPERIENCE each and every year
NOBODY is more happy than I am !
TICKING off the days ~ seeing the snowdrops
EMERGE from the snow ~ the flowers on the
RIVER bank bursting into rainbow bloom !
I LOVE the fact ~ that all by themselves the
NIGHTS are no longer frosty and the days
TURN warmer ~ sunnier ~ the WINTER is .........
OVER and we are MARCHING into SPRING
SPRING ~ A Season of Joy and Happiness
Primroses bloom ~ trees blossom and birds sing
Robins peck at new turned soil for a worm.
I CAN cycle ~ walk to work ~ scent and see
NEWNESS everywhere ~ and when I see the
GIRLS ! I'm fully convinced SPRING SURE has SPRUNG !
Thanks for visiting ~ Comments welcome ~ Love BRIAN

- Comment from author about the poem: GOD has promised us seasonal change ~ Summer & Winter and Springtime & Harvest will occur every Year. In the UK we get proper seasonal change so it is something we can anticipate and prepare for. For me the change from Winter to Spring is the best of all. After the bleak mid-Winter everything comes to life again ! Tree blossom ~ flowers bloom ~ birds sing and everyone ius smiling again ~ IT'S SPRING AGAIN ~ LET'S BRING AGAIN TULIPS FROM AMSTERDAM ! Best of all the Ladies shed their Winter cocoons of drab grey ~ black ~ brown and turn our streets ~ shops ~ offices and cafes into a kaleidoscope of Spring colour and even the Men are less conservative. Thank GOD for SPRING ~ AMEN ! Comments welcome ~ Spring Love to All ~ BRIAN XOX

THANKS GF ~ It's Spring and everything is springing forth ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN
I love springtime very much and I think the weather system is corrupt with chem trails along the lines. Nonetheless, we need to take heed on the future of our atmosphere.
Thanks HYPO ~ I fully agree with you. The composition of the atmosphere is one of the key factors in climate (and consequential seasonal) change. CO2 is a greenhouse gas which traps heat in the atmosphere. Before the Industrial Revolution it was 250 ppm (parts per million) it is now 360 ppm and rising. Deforestation and urbanisation also causes the CO2 level to increase.. Global warming has many negative effects on Global Ecology. Watch this space. Thanks for your comment ~ BRIAN
Well, Spring hasn't quite reached me yet, but I am happy for you that you get to experience the joy of it! Wonderful poem! Oh I can't wait to see the flowers! Hugs--Christina
Thanks CHRIS the irony is that the Lattitude where you live is about 44 N and England is much further N 52 (further North than Vancouver Canada) but we have the Gulf Stream to keep us warm ! It is very Springlike today (65F) but Spring begins officially on 20 March in 10 days time. With Global warming (A Chinese Myth ?) our Winters are less extreme and our Springs start earlier. Thanks for you comment ~ Spring Hugs ~ BRIAN
Love tulips. Wife and I fortunate to visit keukenof festival several years back. Tons of photos. Enjoyed you poem.
Thanks "A" ~ for a wonderful recollection ~ I have visited the Dutch bulb fields several imes nd they are awesome ! Tulips always look their bet in beds and groups. At Keukenhof Gardens there are thousands of tulips and dozens of varieties. Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
