Tribute To Vincent.

Fay Slimm.

Tribute to Vincent.

Brushes which fuse earth and sun
in bold oily strokes.
Lines that move across landscape
like flames of smoke.
Palette fervent with passion colours
light's very moment.
Framed an artistic heart's anguish
stays ever molten.
Signed by Van Gogh fire-gilt paint
never goes cold.

Thanks for reminding us FAY just what a unique Painter Van Goch was ~ liquid gold indeed ! One of his many SUNFLOWER paintings adorns my Fusion on Painters ~ there is a verse for Vincent ! Love the VG landscape you have chosen ~ the sky really is awesome ! Yours B

Canvas had kept broad oily strokes. Lines moved across landscape. Beautiful paintings still remained in mind more. Vincent remained in memory of all. This poem is definitely a nice and brilliant tribute poem for Vincent.

Super tribute and if I could only wield a brush the way he did. But at least I still have two ears.

Great tribute. Obviously you are a fan of the man. A painter ahead of his times. - Phil A.
