The Choice Is Yours

They are available,

Most every day.

What you decide,

To make your way.

 

If I choose,

Not to eat.

Soon I will not,

Stand to my feet.

 

If I choose,

My body to nourish.

See my life,

Begin to flourish.

 

If I choose,

The easy path.

Empty life,

No adventures to grasp.

 

If I choose,

No hand to lend.

Selfish, self-centered,

Message I send.

 

If I choose,

To be so greedy.

Resemble a tightwad.

Shriveled and seedy.

 

If I choose,

A level of generous.

Cheerful heart,

Life so splendid.

 

Make my choices,

You make your own.

By my deathbed,

With loved ones, or alone?

      Thanks HONEY ~ love it ! Everyday ~ and in very way ~ we have to make choices ! Some ore trivial like Tea or Coffee ? ~ A Creamy or a Treacle toffee ? But some affect us all our life ~ should I choose ANGELA for my wife ? Then if my MUM & I agree ~ would sweet ANGELA choose me ? The ultimate choice "Choose you this day whom you will serve GOD or SATAN ? As for me and my house ~ we will serve Our Creator GOD ~ AMEN !"         Choices are not easy BUT are only for the future and once made we have to accept them. I never look back on choices made - what has been has been. Good stuff WBL.
