Whispers From Heaven

Christina8

If I could talk to my mom today

I'd tell her about the legacy left behind

And all the "I'm sorry's" growing up

I wish I could put time on rewind

We'd talk about the different things

going on and how beautiful heaven is

I'd thank her for showing up in my dreams

and giving me peace because of this

If I could talk to my mom today

I'd ask her how she got through the strife

Of having panic disorder, among other things

That might help me a lot in this life

I just want to borrow her, Lord

for the smallest little chat

And maybe a hug from above

Nothing more than that

WONDERFUL CHRIS ~ I got a real blessing from this ! Firstly because it was straight from your loving heart ! Secondly because of the deep love you will always have for your Mom and Thirdly because you have a real inner assurance that you Mom is in Heaven and safe for eternity in the Arms of JESUS ~ AMEN.. Your final stanza is very poignant ! This poem is in essence A HUG FROM ABOVE ~ for all who read.. Also I have assurance that because this poem is a Prayer GOD will read it and pass your message on to your Mom and as you talk to God in Prayer so in essence you are communicating ~ through God to your Mom and back again. I trust that this concept will give you peace of heart and mind and that because you pray to GOD every day you will feel guidance and support and understanding STILL from your MOM. If you have a query on this please contact me with a message ~ OK. I love this poem ~ Heavenly HUGS ~ BRIAN

I lost both my parents a few years back but I still miss them as much as I ever did. I am so privileged to have such great parents and have their photographs in my dressing room and talk to them every day. Yes I know the pain in losing them but rejoice in their memory as I am sure you do - as this great poem shows.
