THREE COUPLETS

Michael Edwards

THREE COUPLETS

Every pair of eyes that see

see rainbows colours differently.

Every person who perceives

their thoughts float down on different leaves.

Every person’s private dreams

sail in sleep on different streams.

Lovely use of words. It flows beautifully. Nice imagery. Love the painting too.

Loved the couplets. Loved the painting. Clouds in the sky? We all see things differently, just like art. Eye of the beholder and all. Words too, can be appreciated in many different ways. My favorite is stanza 2, perception on leaves, floating. A great image, as is the painting. - Phil A.

Thanks Phil - yes No2 is my favourite as well. Eye of the beholder sums it up well.
