MY LOVE is like a CROCODILE

She loves to bite and then to smile

 

MY LOVE is like a CHIMPANZEE

Love monkeyin' around with me

 

MY LOVE is like a POLAR BEAR

But much less hairy everywhere !

 

MY LOVE is like a LIONESS

She hugs me like a trouser press

 

MY LOVE is like a BOMBAY DUCK

her fifty tints make love ~ plain sail !

 

MY LOVE is like a HUMMING BIRD

the sweetest hmmmm I've ever heard

 

MY LOVE is like a PLAYFUL KITTEN

one "tickle my tum" and I was smitten

 

MY LOVE is a CHAMELEON

her color changes turn me on

 

MY LOVE is like a WELL STOCKED ZOO

I enter her cage and she thrills me through !

          I can't say what animal I am but after 17 years of being with the same person I guess it's working. Very good write and I love the last couplet the best. Great job!!! Hugs--Christina

            This is wonderful I love it
            As to say what animal I am it would be a shame to tell
            I ruin all relationships so maybe I'm a snake who took a bite of the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.
            Or am I a a different animal? It's hard to tell but it's just a kind of love...many don't even have a certain type...

              Thanks WG ~ pleased you loved it. Basically it is a fun poem ~ but the serious side is to see how we relate to the Animal Kingdom. All animals have positive and negative traits. Snakes make wonderful pets ~ because they are very self-sufficient and some Show Girls use a snake in their act ! BUT snakes can sometimes hug you too tight ! Sometimes at parties we play a game where everybody has to assign an animal to everyone else from a limited list ! It's surprising how often different person chose the same animal (say a Koala Bear) fro the ame person. I am a Monkey ~ all Monkeys have positive and negative traits ! Thinking of you ~ every Blessing ~ HUGS ~ BRIAN
